Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Todd Diganci is Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for FINRA and serves on the Management Committee. In this capacity, Mr. Diganci is responsible for providing direction and oversight on all financial matters for the organization, including strategic, operational, technology, treasury management and financial reporting. He served in the same roles at NASD, which consolidated with NYSE Member Regulation to form FINRA in 2007.
Mr. Diganci joined NASD in 1995 as Controller responsible for overseeing NASD's regulatory operations, The NASDAQ Stock Market and the American Stock Exchange. During this time, he was responsible for leading several key transactions, including the unprecedented private placement of The NASDAQ Stock Market, which raised over $1.6 billion in proceeds; the creation of international joint ventures that promoted the trading of equities and ETF's abroad, the divesture of the American Stock Exchange and the development of investment strategies for the company's portfolio totaling over $2 billion.
Prior to joining NASD, Mr. Diganci started his career with Marriott International. During his 10 years at Marriott, Mr. Diganci took on increasing levels of responsibility, ultimately serving as Corporate Controller for the Host-Marriott operating group. In this role, Mr. Diganci oversaw 150 operations worldwide, generating revenues in excess of $1 billion, and related corporate development work including acquisitions, contract extensions and divestures. Mr. Diganci also played a central role in spinning-off Host-Marriott from Marriott International into a successful public offering in 1993.
Mr. Diganci received his bachelor's degree in Accounting & Computer Information Systems and a master's degree in Finance from Drake University in 1982 and 1984, respectively. Mr. Diganci is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University's Business School.
