FINRA Dispute Resolution Consulting Services |
A premier dispute resolution authority—FINRA.
Strong Histories—Creative Resolutions
On July 30, 2007, NASD and the member regulation, enforcement and arbitration operations of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) consolidated to form FINRA. As a result, NASD Dispute Resolution and NYSE's arbitration department combined operations, creating a shared background of more than 100 years of experience. Through arbitration and mediation—prompt, inexpensive alternatives to the court system—FINRA facilitates the resolution of monetary, business and employment disputes. FINRA also specializes in developing and administering dispute resolution programs for regional exchanges and capitalmarkets around the globe, and has designed special programs for fairly distributing criminal and civil restitution awards. Today, FINRA operates the securities industry's largest dispute resolution forum.
