Wharton Phase I and Phase III Programs
1. Where will the Wharton sessions be held?
A. The Philadelphia-based one-week sessions will be held at the Aresty Institute of Executive Education, housed in the Steinberg Conference Center at the Wharton School, which is located at 255 South 38th Street (between Spruce and Walnut Streets) on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania (click here to see campus map).
2. What accommodations are available for the Philadelphia-based Phase I and III programs?
A. Room and board are included in the $5,500 program fee for Phase I and Phase III. Most participants are housed at the Steinberg Conference Center. Frequently other nearby hotels, such as the Inn at Penn, are also utilized. Wharton Executive Education handles all the specifics with regard to special accommodations requests.
3. What are the rooms like at the Steinberg Conference Center?
A. Participants staying at the Conference Center will be provided with all the amenities of a hotel, such as telephone, private bath, linens, color television, hair dryer, radio alarm clock, and daily maid service. Laundry services are available for a fee. There is same day service if dropped off at the front desk by 8:30 a.m.
4. Are persons attending the Phase I and III sessions at Wharton (Philadelphia) required to stay on campus?
A. We encourage participants to stay on campus. Residing with your fellow attendees during the course of the program helps to enhance the entire academic experience. Further, for those commuting, parking in the vicinity of the campus is limited and can be expensive. However, a campus stay is not required.
5. How do I get to the Wharton campus in Philadelphia?
A. Air Travel: The airport in closest proximity is the Philadelphia International Airport.
From the airport, the following forms of transit are available:
Train Travel: Philadelphia is a major stop on Amtrak's Northeast corridor lines. Schedule and fare information is available by phone (800-USA-RAIL). From the station, a metered cab ride costs about $5.50 and takes about 5 minutes.
6. Is there parking available on the Philadelphia campus?
A. Parking is extremely limited. The nearby lots charge approximately $12-$16 per day.
7. What is the dress code for the sessions?
A. Dress is business casual.
