FINRA Will Delete Approximately 3,000 Defunct Bonds from TRACE Effective November 10, 2009

Please be advised on close of business Monday, November 9, 2009, FINRA will delete approximately 3,000 defunct bonds from the TRACE System. The deletions will take effect November 10, 2009 and those bonds will no longer appear on the TRACE Issue Master on that date.

 

Due to the amount of bonds involved, the Daily List available via the TRACE Web application and Secure FTP will not contain these bonds under the Security Deletions Section. Instead, FINRA will provide a file on November 9 that will contain these deletions. The file will only be available upon request.

 

To request this file on November 9, please submit an email to FINRA Operations with the subject line "TRACE ISSUE DELETIONS". FINRA will return an email containing a compressed file of the deletions.
