Testing BTDS 144A Information

From Monday, June 2, 2014, through Friday, June 27, 2014, firms can test changes for the dissemination of Corporate Debt and ELNs classified as 144A securities. Starting Monday, June 30, 2014, FINRA will begin disseminating transactions in these types of fixed income securities. Details regarding functionality and testing are outlined below.

 

 

Testing Details-NTF

Authorized firms can test product changes via the NASDAQOMX Testing Facility (NTF):

  • enter Corporate Bond and ELN Bond 144A test transactions
  • process all test transactions for Corporate Bond and ELN 144A securities in TRAQS and BTDS-144A
  • download the Corporate Bond Application Programming Interface file for 144A securities closing prices and 144A securities reference data

 

The IP and port information for connecting to BTDS-144A in the NTF environment is listed below.

 

Note: Testing in the NTF between June 2 and June 27 will be free of charge.

Test Connectivity requirements (BTDS-144A) NTF

To receive streaming test data, firms may purchase a circuit to directly connect to the feeds or contact their extranet provider to request access to the test data stream.

Query parameters in the API specification must be used in order for test closing prices and reference data to be published.

Testing Details - User Acceptance tests

FINRA will conduct weekend production tests on Saturday, June 14, 2014, and Saturday, June 21, 2014. FINRA will publish details regarding these tests as the dates approach.
