FINRA Automated Data Delivery System® (FINRA ADDS®)

FINRA ADDS, formerly FINRA Data Delivery, is a secure website through which firms may request transaction data submitted to the FINRA Trade Reporting and Compliance Engine® (TRACE®).

Through the website, firms may request data files that include their transaction reports and rejects for a particular day, for up to a 30-day calendar period. Firms may use the data to help monitor their trading and reporting activity and support compliance procedures. In response to requests from firms for increased flexibility to access more of a firm's TRACE transaction history, FINRA has established two additional, optional fee-based data delivery services, TRACE Data Delivery Plus and TRACE Data Delivery Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), which will be available June 10, 2013. See Regulatory Notice 13-09.

As additional trade reporting is migrated to the Trade Reporting and Quotation Service (TRAQS) platform, other trade data will be made available via FINRA ADDS.

How to Request Access
Individuals may request access to the FINRA ADDS website through the FINRA Entitlement Program—a secure way for firms to access many of FINRA’s Web-based systems (e.g., Firm Gateway, WebCRD and Report Center) with a single user ID and password.

To access the FINRA ADDS website, users need the following:

  • a FINRA user ID and password
  • one or more TRACE MPID(s) (see the FINRA Information section of your user account), and
  • access to the TRACE Trade Journals privilege.

Your firm’s Super Account Administrator (SAA) can grant you access to the FINRA ADDS website. Contact your firm’s SAA for assistance. If you do not know who serves as your firm’s SAA, log into the FINRA Firm Gateway, click on My Account and view the information on the Applications & Administrators tab or call the FINRA Gateway Call Center at (800) 321-6273.

SAAs who need assistance modifying users’ accounts can access a Quick Reference Guide and other resources at www.finra.org/entitlement.

Please contact FINRA ADDS with any questions.
