New Registration Status - "Approved Pending Results"

With the implementation of Electronic Fingerprint Processing, there is a new FINRA registration status for individuals related to fingerprint card tracking in Web CRD^®. This new status assists both firms and regulators in more precisely identifying the individual’s fingerprint processing status.

 

For FINRA registrations that are "Approved Pending Prints":

 

1. When FINRA receives the fingerprint card from the member firm and the card is scanned for transmission to the FBI, the individual’s registration status will change to APPROVED PENDING RESULTS.
   
   
2. When FINRA receives the FBI results of either CLER or RAPP, and there are no other deficiencies, the individual’s registration status will be updated to APPROVED.
