Criminal History Record Information

The process by which member firms receive Criminal History Record Information (CHRI) has changed since the implementation of Electronic Fingerprint Processing. Firms do not receive hard copy fingerprint card search results. Instead, firms receive the dispositions, including CHRI details, electronically in their “Fingerprint Status Received from FBI Queue”. A firm is able to access the FBI results by hyperlinking on the fingerprint barcode for an individual in this Queue.

 

Firms are responsible for printing and keeping a copy of this information to satisfy their record keeping requirements.
