E-Bill

E-Bill

FINRA's electronic billing system, E-Bill, enables firms to view and pay invoices through the FINRA Firm Gateway—an online tool that provides centralized access to FINRA regulatory and filing applications.

Firms’ Gross Income Assessment (GIA) bills and TRACE and Advertising invoices are available through the E-Bill system. E-Bill will allow entitled users to view and add funds to the FINRA Flex-Funding Account (currently known as the CRD/IARD Daily Account).

Below are instructions for paying GIA, TRACE and Advertising invoices.

FINRA Flex-Funding Account (CRD/IARD Daily Account)

Effective March 18 firms may deposit funds into the FINRA Flex-Funding Account by check, ACH payment, or wire transfer. Firms that want to send hard copy checks or fund their account through wire transfer to their FINRA Flex-Funding Account can obtain instructions here. Please note that credit card payments are not currently supported for funding the FINRA Flex-Funding Account.

How to Request Access to E-Bill

  • The Super Account Administrator (SAA) at each firm can assign entitlement to E-Bill for themselves and employees at their respective firms. View the SAA Self-Entitlement Guide for E-Bill  for more information.

  • If your firm has designated an SAA for FINRA, contact that individual to change your existing user account or to create a new user account for you. To determine who is your firm's SAA, log in to the Firm Gateway, select “My Account” and select the “Applications & Administrators” link. If you do not have access to the Firm Gateway, contact FINRA at (301) 869-6699 to find out who at your firm is designated as the SAA.

  • If your firm has not yet named an SAA, your firm must do so in order to access E-Bill. View instructions on how to entitle someone at your firm to serve in this role. Once your firm’s SAA has been designated, contact that individual to request access to E-Bill.
