SEC Approves Amendments to Rule 10314 to Implement the Online Arbitration Claim Filing System; Effective August 5, 2004
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved amendments to Rule 10314 of the NASD Code of Arbitration Procedure (Code) to allow parties to complete part of the arbitration claim filing process through the Internet.1 The text of the amendments is set forth in Attachment A. The amendments will be effective on August 5, 2004 and will apply to any arbitration claims commenced using the system on or after August 5, 2004.
