Test Center & Continuing Education Delivery Locations

General Information

The PROCTOR® system is a computer system specifically designed for the administration and delivery of computer-based testing and training. Through PROCTOR, FINRA offers a variety of exam/Continuing Education sessions at various sites. This Web page also provides general appointments/enrollment information and specific instructions about taking exams. If you require special accommodations because of a physical disability, special arrangements can be made to accommodate you. Review the special arrangements procedures for information on requesting special accommodations. If English is not your first language, time can be added to your session to assist you in the completion of the session. Review the English As A Second Language (ESL) procedure for information on how to request additional time for ESL.

New International Locations Available

Prometric has recently added several new international testing centers for both exam and Continuing Education delivery.

For a complete list of testing centers in international cities/countries, please visit our International Testing/CE Session Location Sites page.

Test Center Security

Test center security is of the utmost importance when taking an examination or Continuing Education session at a test center facility.  Test center staff, for the protection of the candidate, test developer, and test center staff alike, must strictly enforce security procedure and protocol.

The NASD Rules of Conduct strictly prohibits cellular phones, pagers, hand-held computers or other communications devices, electronic or otherwise, to be taken into the testing room.  Use of these devices during the examination/training session or restroom breaks is strictly prohibited.

Any violation of the NASD Rules of Conduct will subject the examination or Continuing Education candidate to possible disciplinary action by FINRA, another self-regulatory organization, or the Securities and Exchange Commission and could result in being barred from employment/association with any securities dealer. View NASD Rules of Conduct.

Candidates refusing to abide by a vendor's security procedure and/or protocol will be refused entry to the test center, and a late cancel fee will be charged to the candidate's firm.

Please see the section entitled Test Center Security Guidelines to gain an understanding of what to expect when taking an examination or Continuing Education session at a FINRA-approved vendor site.
