How can the Web CRD users at my firm get access to the Equifax Employment Screening Report service through Web CRD?
The process for adding the Equifax Employment Screening Report privilege to your firm's Web CRD user accounts differs depending on whether your firm needs to set up an Equifax customer account or if your firm is already an existing Equifax member. Please select the link applicable to your firm:

How long does the Equifax membership process take?
The membership process time will vary by firm; however, the average timeframe is 10 business days. Dependencies include how quickly the firm provides Equifax the necessary documentation and scheduling the site visit.

Does it cost anything to add the Equifax Employment Screening Report privilege to a Web CRD user account?
FINRA does not charge any fees for adding the Equifax Employment Screening Report privilege to Web CRD user accounts.
If your firm is not yet an Equifax member, Equifax charges a one-time membership fee of $500 to become an Equifax member.
There is no additional Equifax membership fee for existing Equifax members requesting this service be added to their firm's Web CRD user accounts.

What is Equifax ePORT®
and why do I see this on the screen when I click on the Equifax Employment Screening Report link in Web CRD?
When you select the Equifax Employment Screening Report link in Web CRD, you will be leaving the Web CRD System and accessing the Equifax Web site, specifically an application known as Equifax ePORT. Through the Equifax ePORT application, you will be able to request and review PERSONA PLUS reports.

How do I get the Member ID and security digits to perform the one-time firm registration process on the Equifax site?
Once your firm is an Equifax member, and you have completed your Web CRD Modification Entitlement Form, Equifax will contact you with your Member ID and security digits which you will need to perform your one-time online registration process.

I completed the one-time, online Equifax registration process but when I tried to log on to request a report, I was not able to access the Equifax ePORT application. Why?
Your firm must wait approximately 24 hours after you complete the one-time online registration process before anyone at your firm can access the Equifax application.

I am an Equifax Account Administrator but I cannot seem to request a PERSONA PLUS Report? What am I doing incorrectly?
One of Equifax's security features is not to permit an Equifax Account Administrator to request a PERSONA PLUS Report. You must first create a user account for yourself and log on as that user in order for you to be able to request a report. You cannot request a report as an Equifax Account Administrator.

Does the Equifax PERSONA PLUS Report include a credit score?
No, the PERSONA PLUS Report does not include a credit score based on the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Based on FCRA requirements and various state guidelines, PERSONA PLUS does not provide: credit score, age, date of birth, marital status, number of dependents, race, color or creed, or account numbers.

Does the Equifax PERSONA PLUS Report include criminal disclosure?
No, the Equifax PERSONA PLUS Report does not include criminal disclosures. However, matters of public record (e.g., bankruptcies and liens) are included if applicable.

How much does a PERSONA PLUS report cost?
As part of this partnership between FINRA and Equifax, PERSONA PLUS reports requested from Equifax via Web CRD will be available to firm participants at a competitive cost of $3.00* per report.
(*An additional surcharge may apply for report requests for individuals residing in Colorado.)

I'm already an Equifax member and have signed up for the new service through Web CRD. Can I get the report at the competitive fee rate by going to the main Equifax website without going through Web CRD?
No, the PERSONA PLUS Report at the competitive fee of $3.00 per report is only available by accessing Equifax through Web CRD.

Will the charges for requesting PERSONA PLUS reports be deducted from my firm's CRD Daily Account?
No, PERSONA PLUS report fees will not be applied to or deducted from a firm's CRD Daily Account with FINRA. Firms utilizing any Equifax services including requests for PERSONA PLUS reports, will be invoiced directly by Equifax and payment should be remitted to Equifax.

How do I update my Web CRD Account Administrator privileges to add the Equifax Employment Screening Report link?
Complete the FINRA Entitlement Modification Form for FINRA Member Firms (Web CRD) . Select the addition of the "Equifax Employment Screening Report" privilege. Please complete a separate form for each Web CRD Account Administrator for whom you are requesting this privilege. Send the completed form(s) to FINRA via fax or mail (fax number and address provided on the form). FINRA will contact your Web CRD Account Administrator(s) once the privilege has been set in Web CRD.
