Proposal to Amend Rule 2340 to Relieve Members from the Requirement to Send Quarterly Account Statements to Customer Accounts that are Carried on a DVP/RVP Basis

NASD is filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC" or "Commission") a proposed rule change to amend NASD Rule 2340 to relieve members from the requirement to send quarterly account statements to customer accounts that are carried solely for the purpose of delivery versus payment and receive versus payment ("DVP/RVP") transactions, provided certain conditions are met.
