As Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications, Josh Drobnyk oversees FINRA’s media relations, corporate communications and multimedia communications services.
Before joining FINRA in February 2017, Mr. Drobnyk served as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs and then Deputy Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
Prior to joining Treasury, Mr. Drobnyk spent more than four years on the minority staff of the House Ways and Means Committee, where he worked as Communications Director before becoming Deputy Staff Director. He also served as Communications Director for U.S. Rep. Chris Carney (D-PA). Mr. Drobnyk spent several years as a reporter for various publications and worked early in his career as an account executive for J. Walter Thompson.
He received his undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College and a master’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
