FINRA's Advertising Regulation Conference provides a forum to hear about practical changes and new developments involving the communications rules, and the opportunity to gain guidance on the advertising standards from industry and FINRA experts. Featuring:

  • sessions covering FINRA regulatory highlights, advertising rule retrospective and regulatory developments, general brokerage advertising, investment company communications and more;
  • the popular Advertising Regulation Boot Camp, a pre-conference session for newer compliance professionals;
  • interactive, hands-on advertising review workshops;
  • demonstrations of the Advertising Regulation Electronic Files (AREF) system—including new updates scheduled for fall 2015;
  • office hours with FINRA Advertising Regulation analysts; and
  • opportunities for CLE, CPE and CRCP CE credits.

A room block has been added at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel. The room rate of $299, plus tax per night, is available until September 16, 2015, or until the room block is sold out. Hotel reservations will then be accepted on a space- and rate-available basis. 2. Live broadcast:

Sessions will be video or audio broadcast live online. Online participants receive access to all conference materials, and can ask questions in real time. Since recordings of most sessions will be made available on demand after the conference, participants can catch up on sessions they miss live.

Conference registration is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment is required at the time your registration is submitted. You will receive an email confirmation of your completed registration form and payment. Please make sure your registration has been confirmed prior to your arrival onsite at the conference.


Full refunds for registration fees, less a $100 processing fee, will be granted to written requests received 14 days or more prior to the start of the conference. Refunds will not be granted after September 24, 2015.
