2017 Advertising Regulation Conference

FINRA's Advertising Regulation Conference provides a forum to hear about practical guidance on complying with advertising rules and new developments involving the communications rules, and the opportunity to gain guidance on the advertising standards from industry and FINRA experts. This year’s conference includes opportunities to network with industry peers and meet one-on-one with Advertising Regulation Department staff during office hours.

A room block has been added at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel. The room rate of $319, plus tax per night, is available until September 6, 2017, or until the room block is sold out.

There are two ways to participate: in-person or online.

  2. Live broadcast:

    Most sessions will be video or audio broadcast live online. Online participants receive access to all conference materials, and can ask questions in real time. Since recordings of most sessions will be made available on demand after the conference, participants can catch up on sessions they miss live.

*Available to firms registering 3 or more employees at the same time with the same credit card. Please follow instructions in the registration system.

Conference fees include attendance to all sessions and conference materials, an evening reception on Thursday, and continental breakfast and lunch on Friday.

Conference registration is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment is required at the time your registration is submitted. You will receive an email confirmation of your completed registration form and payment. Please make sure your registration has been confirmed prior to your arrival onsite at the conference.

FINRA assumes no liability for penalties or fare increases should the conference sell out or in the unlikely event that changes to the conference dates and/or location become necessary.


Full refunds for registration fees, less a $100 processing fee, will be granted to written requests received 14 days or more prior to the start of the conference. Refunds will not be granted after September 21, 2017.
