Tick Size Pilot: Exchange Route Matching for the Chicago Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange

This guidance is being issued as an addendum to the OATS Report FINRA Guidance on OATS Exchange Route Matching. To obtain the execution information required by Appendix B.I and B.II of the Plan to Implement a Tick Size Pilot Program ("the Plan") for orders in Pre-Pilot Data Collection and Pilot Securities, FINRA will link OATS orders routed to the Chicago Stock Exchange (CHX) and the National Stock Exchange (NSX) to the related order in the applicable exchange. FINRA will attempt to link any Route Report with a Destination of CHX or NSX when the Tick Pilot Participation Flag is populated on the related New Type Event and FINRA has identified the Reporting Member as being a Trading Center in the specific Pre-Pilot Data Collection or Pilot Security.
