Phone-In Workshop: TRACE Reporting of Transactions in U.S. Treasury Securities – Final Installment in Series

On Thursday, June 8, FINRA's Transparency Services Department is hosting the third and final installment in its TRACE Reporting of Transactions in U.S. Treasury securities phone-in workshop series. During this one, FINRA staff review relevant rules and regulations, and discuss testing and other relevant technical information. FINRA is hosting this series of free phone-in workshops to assist firms with planning for the requirement of reporting transactions in U.S. Treasury Securities to FINRA via the Trade Reporting and Compliance Engine (TRACE)—a requirement that goes into effect July 10, 2017.

Reminder: FINRA Transparency Services Participation Agreement Requirement

Please be aware that all firms required to report transactions in U.S. Treasury Securities to TRACE must first complete a FINRA Transparency Services Participation Agreement (FPA) to request Treasury authorization. This includes firms that are new to TRACE as well as firms that currently submit corporate, agency and/or securitized products transactions. The FPA is available via the FINRA Firm Gateway. Additional information about the form is available on our website.
