Quarterly ATS Data Reports

As discussed in FINRA Rule Filing SR-FINRA-2014-018, FINRA will begin making Quarterly ATS Data reports publicly available on the Alternative Trading System (ATS) Transparency Web page. Effective Monday, November 3, the quarterly statistics will be available for anyone to access. FINRA will aggregate the Total Shares, Total Trades and Average Trade Size per ATS on a quarterly basis and will provide the data separately as outlined below:

  • For all Tier 1 NMS stocks
  • For all Tier 2 NMS stocks
  • Total of all NMS stocks (Tier 1 and Tier 2)
  • For all OTC securities

The initial reports will be available for 2Q 2014 (partial quarter from May 12, 2014 - June 30, 2014) and 3Q 2014. Ongoing quarterly statistics will be published 4 weeks after the quarter end.
