This is absolutely ridiculous. This comes up every 3 or 4 years. Want to absolutely crash the markets and decimate jobs at pro shares and America? Heinous proposition. The volume on some of these ETFs is huge, they provide massive liquidity to markets. Only allowing high net worth individuals to invest? Sickening. The rich get richer while the worse off cant participate. Please dont do this.
I want the right and freedom to invest in the stock I want to, so please do not add any restriction to purchasing stocks. Please let us trade any stocks thats available on the stock market.

I am retired and have been managing my own portfolio for many years. Because of the market volatility I use leveraged funds (specifically SPXU, UVXY, and SQQQ) as a hedging strategy for my entire portfolio. I do not understand why the government should regulate what public investments people should be purchasing.

I have no use for regulations that limit my investment choices. Free will and freedom to choose is essential to my American way of life. Authorities who make believe that they know more about me than I know about myself have exceeded the limits of government of the people, by the people, for the people.
