Upcoming June Meeting

The FINRA Board of Governors is holding its second meeting of the year this week. Following are several items the Board committees will consider.
- The Audit and Risk Committee will:
- review FINRA’s 2024 Annual Financial Report, currently scheduled for mid-year publication; and
- receive updates on FINRA’s enterprise risk management and cybersecurity programs.
- The Regulatory Policy Committee will:
- consider proposed amendments relating to performance projections in member communications, in response to feedback we have received from member firms;
- consider proposed amendments to the Carrying Agreement Rule (Rule 4311), which governs requirements when entering into agreements for the carrying of customer accounts; and
- receive an update on the Rule Modernization proposals that FINRA has published as part of FINRA Forward, a series of initiatives to further improve our effectiveness and efficiency.
- The Regulatory Oversight Committee will:
- receive operational updates as well as an update on third-party vendors.

- The Nominating and Governance Committee will:
- conduct its annual review of FINRA’s advisory committee membership.
