I am expressing my opinion of opposition of adding regulation to my ability to buy leveraged and inverse funds. I understand the risks involved and don't feel that taking a test, for example, is necessary. It is just bureaucracy that isn't necessarily going to help with me be less foolish with losing my money, or not.
I am the only person who should choose how to invest my money. The notion that the US Government has the right or ability to remove personal choice, freedom, and responsibility from our lives is simply wrong and frankly unconstitutional. Capital markets work a lot better than government and I am more than capable of making my own investment choices.

Private investors are expected to understand that all investments involve risk. Perhaps a disclaimer should be required by all brokers that investing in certain types of funds will expose the investor to more risk than usual.

Why only block leveraged products? I say block the whole stock market for people with less than a million dollars in liquidity. Please create more and tougher hurdles for pleabian class people like us so it becomes even tougher for regular folks like us to climb the financial ladder.
