I think these restrictions on my right to invest should not be put in place
I have been investing in leveraged funds for more than a decade. I understand the risk that why I invest in this fund only 1/3 of the money and I keep the rest in my savings account. If the Nasdaq goes down, I limit my loss to 33%.
I am a regular individual investor currently investing in multiple leveraged etfs. Just because I am not in the 1% or a part of a major financial cooperation does not mean that I do not have the ability to study, learn, comprehend and weigh the risks of using the same financial instruments that professionals use. To regulate instruments like leveraged ETFs is an insult to retail investors like myself and further restricts retail investors' ability to compete with commercial investors.
I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS TO MY RIGHT TO INVEST
I'm a responsible investor, taking calculated risk. Additionally, the primary reason for levered funds is an insurance policy against my existing portfolio of assets. It has a place in my portfolio and I think FINRA and the Govt should stay out of it.
I dont need regulators to tell me how to trade or use my money! Vote NO!
Please impose less regulation
I - not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies as they help me protect (hedge) my investments or seek enhanced returns.
Stop messing with peoples ability to invest in a free market.
