I strongly oppose any restrictions on investing in leveraged and inverse funds.
The public should be able to decide where to invest OUR money. I am a small investors and making these products only available to just the "privileged" is just another example of the unfairness in the current environment of our economic system.
As a small investor I am completely able to understand these funds and how to use them in my investing strategy. In fact they are extremely important to me for generating returns.
These funds are extremely important in generating returns in a multiple scenarios of market conditions. They are less risky then options trading which do not require any special process to buy or sell.
I use my money to invest and there should not be any restrictions on how I do that. It is my money!
