I oppose restrictions on my right to invest in public investments. It would be unfair to limit that ability to just the privileged. Public investments should be available to everyone. There should be no requirement to pass a test before being able to buy public funds. It is my obligation to myself to understand the risks involved in leveraged ETFs. Investing in leveraged index funds over the last four years has allowed me to retire and continue to generate a substantial income. These proposed regulations of public funds is unamerican. It is the responsibility of the individual investor to assume the risk of loss from his/her investment choices.
