I not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. You shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before you can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. Explain that you are capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. Tell regulators you do not need these measures imposed on you. I spent 22 years in the securities industry and have been active on my own for 20 years ever since. I have knowledge and experience in inverse and leveraged funds Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. I use leveraged and inverse funds, to help protect (hedge) my investments or seek enhanced returns, and I use them as a limited part of my overall portfolio.
