I have been safely and profitably investing in a leveraged, inverse fund for years in taxed and tax-deferred accounts.and have been investing in stocks, bonds and derivatives for decades. Leveraged, inverse funds are only a small part of my investment portfolio and are an even smaller part of my net worth. I understand the risks and mitigate them by buying shares only when the risk is relatively
I am against more nanny state regulations. We as individuals need to be able to make our own decisions.
People with high net worth are also incapable of making financial decisions, they just got lucky.
If this investment is inappropriate for individual investors such as myself, then why is it even an option? Just remove it for all investors.

To: FINRA Regulators, Kind Regards. I have been trading ETNs, leveraged securities, futures, puts and calls etc. since 1985. I understand the works and functions of these somewhat complex trading methods. I started with about $10,000.00 and now have multiple trading accounts approximately in excess of $2,000,000.00 I respectfully request that you do not take away my rights to buy and sell listed
Limiting the options for individuals to invest in public investments, which any sort of investment, whether its a security, ETF, CD, stock, fund, note, trust, etc, whether its complex, or not is not justified. PLEASE do not restrict access to leveraged ETFs. I can take responsibility, as all adults should - and we do not need anyone to restrict our ability to choose investments that match our risk/reward profile. All stocks require knowing their risks before investing, and leveraged funds should be treated no different just because they might be more risky. Leveraged funds are an integral part of my

It removes the need for trading on margin which is important for IRAs. These choices should be available for all investors, not just wealthy people or the so called sophisticated investor. Removing these options
I do not need a regulator to tell me when and how I can invest in leveraged or inverse funds. They are easy products to understand and much less complicated than options. Inverse leveraged ETFs in particular, provide vital hedges against market volatility when one wishes to hold positions in common stocks they believe in, but understand market sentiment is going in a negative direction. This kind
I own a RIA firm and I use leveraged ETFs for myself and select clients within a globally diversified portfolio. I've gone through a state exam to fully understand what risks should be disclosed to my clients and I've worked extensively to educate my clients on the use and risks of leveraged ETFs. I've effectively used leveraged ETFs and hold them for multi year time
Response to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) proposed rules on leveraged ETFs Leveraged ETFs may be volatile but it is not more volatile than many individual securities. In addition to uncertainties with individual stocks. Investors are able to allocate the use of leveraged ETFs to diverse their assets to fit their risk tolerance against the effects of a volatile and uncertain
