Why does a " dark " pool exist? We demand fairness and transparency in the stock market. How can we prevent " naked shorts " / synthetic shares? Why is there T + 2 when the market makers can see our trades instantly? This is NOT fair. There are RAMPANT FRAUD AND MANIPULATION.
It is very important for me to have financial flexibility with my investments. I dont always think the S&P 500 will go up and I like the ability to invest in an inverse S&P 500 fund without needing to pick individual stocks to short. Please dont take away my investment flexibility.
I have spent 50 years perfecting my investment process both personally and for clients. I managed to survive and flourish through 8-9 bear markets. I accomplish this by using the most broadest of diversifications including being able to sell short markets. Inverse etfs including leveraged ones are important tools to have in the tool box to accomplish this. they are convenient and in many ways
Comments: As a retail trader, I find that L&I funds provide adequate exposure to investment instruments of which I am seeking to trade. Traders exposed to these instruments understand and accept the risks L&I funds provide: understanding whether the fund is optioned short or long and as to how much exposure (1x, 2x, 3x). Utilizing these trading instruments are no different than
I recently joined the stock market. But I see there’s a lot of corruption with short sellers. I hope this can be straightened out so we have a fair market to do trading. Several of my friends are thinking about quitting trading all together if it doesn’t begin to be fair
End Naked Short selling. The market manipulation behind stocks such as $AMC and $GME is so blatant at this point, that the entire world is watching. It is embarrassing as an American citizen to see nothing being done about this. Especially after the 2008 market crash. We have to put an end to this.
I like to invest in leveraged ETFs. Im quite aware of the risks and potential long and short term fluctuations. And my desire to speculate with my money ought to be my choice.
Individual investors ought to be able to invest in any ETFs. Theyre much safer than some horrendous penny stocks.
I would like to see changes in the reporting of shorts taken place in real time, full transparency from all investors from insiders to retail investors (with an emphasis on hedge funds), discontinued use of algorithmic trading tactics, synthetic shares, loop holes used to create selling pressure, and any other market manipulation tactics. I want to see real action taken to prevent and correct
I’m not educated nor do I speak/write English well. But the way the stock market works, it seem that the rich have a different rules while retail have very limited tools. Why are they allowed to short stocks without reporting? Why are they allowed to manipulate prices via dark pools? It’s like we are watching a game of football, betting which sides win, but retail only see 25% of the field while
I am against the passage of Proposed Rule #S7-24-15. I have found leveraged and inverse ETF's easy to understand and trade. The risk involved in high beta stocks can be higher. I prefer to trade long in lieu of short selling and puts. Inverse EFT's are my vehicle for being long but bearish.
