If I stole from a store I would end up in jail. But when the hedge funds does it. It’s creating a market. Double standard. They are stealing from the American people’s wallets. The same ones that pay for you to secure the exchanges. Which it is not being done. This makes me lose faith In the American stock system if all we are gonna do is lose our money to fake stocks and dark pools. I can’t
Addition to previous submission today. Cryptos were clearly described by Buffet and Munger recently!!!! The term Derivatives is showing up in publications describing stocks. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE NO NO. Derivatives is a wild card word. It can mean anything! Certainly not a legal definition of a stocks worth. Please veto it before it becomes accepted. Arnie Allison
My investments are my choice. I dont get to buy or sell stocks in advance before passing legislation that effects stock value like you elected officials. Leave my options alone. If you dont understand triple leverage and inverse funds, thats not a reason to limit me from using them.
I very much oppose these proposed restrictions. Any and every stock issue carries risks inherent to the individual stock, and these are no different. It is up to the investor to educate and investigate the risk and determine whether it fits within their own risk profile. This is not for the regulatory industry to define, unless the information and prospectus is giving false and/or misleading
These types of funds are crucial to retirement accounts that are not eligible for margin. Inverse ETF's give you the ability to protect yourself from downside risk, which is important because one is not able to put on any short positions in a retirement account.... and sometimes regular cash accounts too!

No reason to penalize everyone for a few bad apples. I use inverse ETF's during times when the stock market is going down to balance out (hedge against) losses and so I can hold on to my winners. If the inverse ETF's are subject to special processes beyond the usual rules for all stocks, this would be unfair.
As a retail shareholder and investor (equities and options) in multiple companies such as Tesla, Gamestop, AMC, along with the typical ETFs tracking the broader market I feel that we have not been well served by the current rules and system. The lack of transparency, limited reporting, and massive loopholes like synthetic short positions and loan obligations not being required to be reported in

The whole market is obviously being manipulated blatantly. This is unacceptable stocks like GME, AMC, MMAT and plenty others are being torn down by these manipulations, the media and fake accounts on social media and investment platforms bashing the stocks. Pay attention to this and you'll see it all
I would like to see you actually enforce your rules. Not reminders, a actual punishment. Also not a "yeah we saw you steal 700 mil so we're just going fine you 70 mil and you can be on your way." No all of it. Everything that was taken, taken back. From what I have seen you don't enforce ur SSR rule, Threshold list rules, naked shorting rules, payment for order flow rules ect
