Timely and accurate information accessible by all participants in the markets only make them better. Daily shorts by number of shares, , Stock borrowed, % of float short, FTD (and even FTR) and changes from last report in all these categories. As a dream data point for me: cost of stock borrowing. All this date is available daily except the only way to accumulate it is to PAY a company to provide
I would want all the of these actions implemented and a DAILY accounting of it in both graphing and table form made available for public consumption. I believe that short positions are a part of the market's functionality. However, only 1 level. That is, a true 1-to-1 correspondence of short to stock share. The delivery date MUST be cut down to 1 day without a 'kick-the-can' down

Questions regarding this Notice
I’m Observing stock price manipulation. It appears market makers are able to borrow naked short positions and engage in algorithmic ladder attacks to subvert a stock’s price. Whatever accountability that does not allow for selling stock one doesn’t own with the sole purpose of manipulation of the price and inciting fear into stock holders. It’s a bully friendly market.
FINRA must require proper reporting of short interest by institutions, for too long have they been able to provide inaccurate self-reported misinformation(see SEC for historical offences of mislabeling Short positions as long) without oversight to push down stock values of companies. I'm only putting a small percentage into these funds and the majority of my money is in less risky stocks.
the current laws allow the big brokers and hedge funds to make a fortune killing small companies. one highly shorted stock, inovio (INO) has life saving cancer and covid drugs in the making, but are being hampered by shorts. please put a stop to this. make everyone play by the same rules. find a better way to keep track of stocks and how they are borrowed. i think america, and traders around the
I am truly disgusted at how the SEC has allowed hedge fund companies, billionaires and millionaires to perform naked shorts against companies like AMC entertainment (AMC) and GameStop (GME). Please make them cover their short positions and penalize them for performing illegal acts in the stock market. That really takes the honor and integrity out of the stock market and discourages retail
