I currently hold a couple leveraged funds and at various times in the past have held inverse funds. I also trade options. I have been trading for nearly 20 years and have a lot of experience. I never get in over my head on high-risk investments. I reserve the right to trade the funds, stocks, bonds and commodities that I deem are in my own best interest.
Restricting purchasing/selling of inverted or leveraged ETFs is pretty much equal to stoping regular people from the opportunity to earn income in stock trading. Leaving this privilage to only "professionals" or traders with huge capital will hugely increase the gap between rich and poor and will make poor suffer more.

Hi Sir/Madam,
As an securities investor, I'd like to have the freedom to select my combinations including stocks, regular funds, leveraged funds and others. I will take responisbility to the gain and loss by myself. Any restriction will impact my inverstment strategy which has been established for years.
Please do consider not to add any restriction.
Thanks,
Jianzhong
Leveraged and inverse funds are at great help in handling stock market up and downturns. Exposing 15-20% of my portfolio to these ETFs helps me achieve my investment goals in longer run. I have been investing for 8 plus years and these leveraged and inverse ETFs have only helped in my financial growth and would prefer investing in them in future too.
I am writing to express strong opposition to new rules that would further restrict investment of leveraged and inverse funds.
I have used these funds simply to protect my existing investments in the stock market. I know financial advisors who also do so. Already there are checks and balances in place in Ameritrade for trading these funds.
No further restrictions should be added.
Easy and universal access to leveraged and inverse funds should not be hindered. These inbvestment vehicles provide unique opportunities for investors of all types. They are transparent and have a liquid market for investors. Speculative nvestments in individual stock positions can be far more dangerous to individual investors, but no one would ever consider limiting those abilities. This is
Please do not impose restrictions on my right to invest. All forms of investing involves risk. Investing in individual stocks is extremely risky. Knowing about these more complex products only comes with time and experienced investing. Therefore novice investors will not discover and invest in these type of investments. No need for additional regulations and creating new determinants and
Public Investments should be available to the public according to their choice without restrictions. Out of the various Investments available, some choose the stock market understanding the risk and reward associated with it. Out of this only a small percentage of the people are involved in leveraged and inverse fund and they fully understand the added risks involved,
In this type of situation,
I am opposed to the proposed changes in investment regulations which would prevent or restrict investors from buying "complex products" such as leveraged and inverse funds. I am a 65 year old retiree and this would have a profoundly negative impact on my retirement savings. If you want to impose limits on investors prohibit Senators and Representatives from investing in stocks.
Leveraged and inverse funds definitely have risk but so do any other stocks or funds. Limiting access to leveraged funds limits my ability to take advantage of broad market swings and shouldnt be limited to the privileged few. I have made money and lost money with leveraged funds so I know the risk. I dont want to lose the option. Thanks.
