On August 23, 1995, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved amendments to the Code of Arbitration Procedure (Code) clarifying the authority of arbitrators to issue injunctions. The amendments include a new section that permits parties in intra-industry disputes1 to seek emergency relief, called

Summary
FINRA is issuing this Notice to remind firms of their obligations when submitting step-outs to FINRA. While step-out submissions are voluntary and not required by rule, if firms elect to use a FINRA equity trade reporting facility to step out of a previously reported trade, they must comply with applicable trade reporting requirements.

Effective February 1, 1993, market makers in Nasdaq Small-Cap MarketSM securities had to display size in their quotations of at least 500 shares, unless the issues are priced at $10 or more and trade less than 1,000 shares per day. Those issues will remain at the 100 share-display requirement. The
