I am a former high school teacher. I have been reading in economics for years. The inverse ETFs permit me to hedge my long positions. They are much less risky than shorting individual stocks. It would be not a help to me to take them off the market.

The people of The United States have the right to make their own decisions regarding investments. I use technical analysis as guidance to invest for my families future. You have no right to change the rules when we the people can profit in a recession.

In order to reduce my portfolio risk, I thoroughly studied the various aspects of these products before entering my first position, and am confident that I am capable of using these products without any manner of over sight, testing, or restriction.
