I am an investor of 40+ years experience, and regularly use leveraged investment products in my investment strategy. In order to reduce my portfolio risk, I thoroughly studied the various aspects of these products before entering my first position, and am confident that I am capable of using these products without any manner of over sight, testing, or restriction.
I value the opportunity
It poses a severe threat towards market fairness. It's like locking people in home because of Flu. Retail traders or investors should be able to freely choose whatever products that fit their trading strategies. Finance is NOT only for the rich or the privileged. We know what leveraged funds are. Also, the liquidity will be severely affected if passed.
Everyone needs to have the right buy any stock they want to buy.

The brokerage company I work with always provides information on risk with investing. As do drug companies with risk on heath. Leave the way I want to invest alone. Ones choice. Free country.

I oppose the proposed restrictions on leveraged or inverse funds. To me, those funds are invaluable in allowing me sometimes invest in a diversified index simulating single stock performance but without single stock risk, especially during earnings season where price gap downs can occur. They also help me easily maintain my portfolio value in market downturns. Please allow me to continue trading
I oppose restrictions or regulations that inhibit my investment choices. I intentionally choose leveraged or inverse funds as a part of my portfolio. I want to be able to buy or sell those funds at any time of my choosing. These funds have risks like other funds or stocks. We don't know the future. I should be able to buy any legal instrument that my brokerage house approves me for based on my account and agreements between the brokerage and me, not mandated by a regulatory body.
