Dear FINRA, I think it should be up to each person not the government to decide what investments are right for me. I understand the risks of leveraged & Inverse funds. So I only invest a small portion of my portfolio in these investments. Please don't take this investment choice away from anyone. Regina Green
I am opposed to the proposed FINRA regulations.
I, and investors like me, are fully capable of reading and comprehending the prospectus of any ETF, leveraged or otherwise, and making a decision about how to invest our own money in these products. This is a decision that I(we) should be in charge of. Period.
Primarily, I use leveraged index funds to enhance the long term returns on my investments. I do not invest money that I cannot afford to
I should be able to choose what investments are right for me. I shouldn't have to go through any test for doing this. I use these investments to safely hedge my returns with other investment opportunities.
How amusing that you people are going after the small investor instead of the investment bankers who caused the 2008 crash. If you clowns really wanted to protect me, you would re-enact Glass Steagle. But your wanting to restrict inverse funds is only about more profits for you and partners, right?
Do not limit an investor's ability to invest in any fund, especially leveraged and inverse funds. These funds are a important instrument in dealing with economic cycles and protecting personal assets.
Why should only certain people be allowed to invest? If I want to invest, I feel I should be able to!
I have been investing in leveraged funds for many years. I am completely comfortable with the risks involved and enjoy having the choice to do so. Please reject the proposed regulations.
I resent any attempts to limit my full participation in the stock market in any way I choose to.
Stay away from my freedoms and susposed abilities. [REDACTED]
