As a retail investor, I do meticulous research on the financial health of companies I invest in, and do quite a bit of work to justify adopting a particular strategy or level of financial risk. Closing off inflows of retail investment dollars damages me, and my investments, regardless of the intent of the rule

I am capable of making my own financial investment decisions together with my Financial Advisor.
This is the USA. and we should be free to risk what we have without more Regulation.

I oppose any restrictions on my right to invest. The past few years have shown that many limitations are placed on retail investors which seems to provide unfair advantages to Wall Street. How about doing something that really maters - why is payment for order flow legal in the US?

Use your regulatory powers to stop insider trading. Use your regulatory powers to stop inflation. Use your regulatory powers to stop Musk buying Twitter, or other monopolistic situations of which there are many. Stop harassing the small investor. You remind me of the police cracking down on jay-walking. Try to use your powers for something worthwhile, instead of on petty populist actionism like
I wanted to further add that I do not agree with restrictions being placed that would limit access of public investments to the broad public and give access only to a select group of investors deemed worthy. Personally, I use such products not only as a way to enhance returns that could help secure my financial future, but also as a hedge (risk mitigating measure) to help protect my investments.
I do NOT need regulators to protect me from myself! I should be about to choose my own public investments and not have your limitations imposed upon me.
With this regulation you are reducing the size of the market place and creating an unfair advantage to the a chosen portion of the investment community.
