the consumer should be allowed to invest in any public fund. there should be no restrictions to what I'm able to invest in!
Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need any regulation or limitation imposed on my ability.
Leverage and inverse funds are important for liquidity issues.
I use it as hedge limiting my investment losses.
There should be at no regulation in investment as possible.
I oppose the limitations on the ability to invest in Funda.
I want to be able to buy them when I want. I am savy investor. If you sell me out now I will lose a lot a well.
Please do not prevent me from using financial instruments that give me 2x and 3x exposure to index products. They provide a safer way to hedge my portfolio than going short specific things that are much more highly priced and my potential losses are completely known to me unlike a flat out short position. It is insane that you would potentially prohibit retail investors or financial advisers from access to leveraged or derivative funds. Investors should be able to choose the public investments that are right for their circumstances. You regulators are NOT God.
Investors not regulators – should be able to choose the public investments that are right for you and your family.

You shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before you can invest in public securities. We are aware of our own risks and it continues to baffle me and others

Over the last couple of years, I have been trying to manage my retirement investments much more actively. It's very important to hedge some of my positions, particularly in the current economic environment. An important part of my strategy is to be able to invest in inverse ETFs, as I am unable to short individual stocks in my retirement accounts. I do not think
I occasionally use leveraged/inverse funds to reduce risk in my portfolio during high volatility market periods. Use of leveraged inverse funds are simpler to use than other instruments for someone who only uses them infrequently. I am best qualified to make these judgements. SEC Personal, I use inverse leveraged and non leveraged funds to trade on a regular basis. Without that ability I probably couldn't trade in the markets for long. Please reconsider any adverse changes that would take that freedom away.
