Please allow investors to be in equal footing with institutions
Investing has helped me grow my portfolio at a young age, and removing complex investing strategies will make it harder for me to learn
I have not used leveraged funds but inverse funds are an important part of my investment strategy as protection against market downturns and also for selling options. Brokerage companies already issue appropriate warnings to their customers re: risks. Please do not restrict access to these funds.
The public has the right to choose their investments
Re: FINRA Ive Invested in the Markets for over 12yrs, Ive always appreciated the fact that I could Invest freely, make my own choices and decisions on what, where, Why & when I choose to Invest, Moreover, and based on the proliferation & numerous tools & Resources available to the Individual Retail Investor these days the case for the freedom of choice became even more
You should restrict political parties aka politicians instead of the little people.
I know your thinking of the big guys but remember the little guy too. I do my own investing and very happy doing so. I think things are fine just the way they are. I don't need a bunch of malarkey to screw things up for me. Thank you for listening to me and call if you would like to discuss. [REDACTED]
It's up to me to decide and educate myself on investments that I think are appropriate for my family. I do not want some regulator that is not accountable to me or my family making that decision for me.
I oppose restrictions on the ability to invest/trade public investment products such as leveraged ETFs because I understand the risks involved (such as volatility decay). I should be able to invest/trade in these ETFs because they comprise a small portion of my portfolio, and I use them as a learning tool to figure out about how these ETFs work. I also use them to try to capture enhanced returns
I understand about Leveraged and inverse funds and risks. I have invented them for the long time. My returns are good. It is my money. I can make a decision by myself.
