I've used leveraged funds successfully for many years. They have significantly improved my investment returns while maintaining better capital preservation for investment flexibility. After acquiring years of experience via trading leveraged ETF's I don't want to take on added regulations not do I want to risk losing my right to leveraged trading nor have it limited.
Dear decision makers, I would very much like to retain my ability to invest in funds with complex structures including those with leveraged and inverse models, such as LABU and LABD. These funds are important to my investment strategy and their manner of working is not as complicated as to put anyone at risk. Their mechanics are easy to understand and to explain to anyone. It is unfair to take away these important tools for individual investors and once again make them only available to wealthy investors. This new regulation being considered will not accomplish what it is designed to do, and discriminates against average and lower income people.
I believe investors should have the right to choose. I'm able to understand the risk and do not think regulations are needed.
I as an educated investor want to make decisions on what I invest in. Public investments should be available to me and all the public not just the privileged.
I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities. I understand quite well what I am investing in when I purchase a leveraged or inverse fund. I understand the risk

Investing in leveraged and inverse funds is an integral part of my investment strategy and I do it recognizing that there
I use leveraged and inverse funds as part of my trading strategy. It is far less risky than using options in a retirement account. Please allow the continued use of the Proshares offering as I frequently trade TQQQ and SQQQ in my portfolio.

I was made aware of the possibility of trading restrictions being placed on inverse and leveraged investment vehicles.
Using these types of investments allows me to safe guard my portfolio from market declines without having to liquidate my primary investments using only a small portion of my capital. I prefer them to options as I don't have to worry about expiration dates.
Removing our ability to protect our assets and ONLY allowing us to be long stocks is criminal. Why cant we protect our investments? You only want us to lose money if the marker goes down? You crooks need to allow us to short if we want to and STOP trying to control markets so much. GET OUT OF THE MARKETS. Let the free markets be free. If we want to short we should be able to.
