I am retired and rely on my investments to provide income. I swing trade the market when it reaches extremes of bullishness or pessimism. By using leveraged and inverse ETF's I make money without risking my entire portfolio.. These products are not complex for someone who has no financial training but follows the market.
We not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for us. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
We shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before we can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am certainly capable of understanding leveraged and inverse

I am a lifelong investor that has been using leveraged ETF's for the past decade. I buy them on a monthly basis as part of a calculated strategy, including hedging. Without them, I would be unable to continue outperforming the market to the degree that I have the past 15 years. I am fully aware of the risks involved. Banning my ability to procure leveraged ETF
I am not sure what the issue would be to destroy my ability to purchase inverse or leveraged funds. If these are purchased with cash and I understand my risks then no one else should care about if I want to buy them.
I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds. I do my own research and should not be required to take tests or have a high net worth to be able to invest. I use leveraged and inverse funds as insurance for my investments. Making these important investments harder to obtain would be very detrimental to overall portfolio security. I should be able to choose investments that I see fit
I oppose any regulations restricting my ability to invest in anything I deem of interest. I view this as limiting my options and freedoms as an investor. You should focus on those investors and investments which are illegal and allow others a unfair advantage.
Please allow all citizens the right to invest as lawmakers can!
