Retail traders have to follow the rules, its a skewed system where large funds are able to trade shares under the table outside of market pricing. "dark pools" need to be completely shut down. Every share needs to be accounted for, naked shorting is an unfair advantage and also needs to be reined in. Every transaction, long or short needs to be reported and logged, there is no question
We must have daily reporting of short positions. We must see strict regulation of naked shorting and massive fines for abuse. We must see strict regulation of dark pools. We must see daily reporting of FTDs. I have zero faith in our financial system after witnessing the blatant manipulation perpetrated by certain hedge funds and market makers all while retail investors are blamed.
Shorting is a fundamental part of the free market, but surely naked shorting of any kind be it physical stock, bonds etc should carry such a severe penalty that hedge funds thinks twice before going down that path. Hedge funds should be playing by the same rules as anyone investing in the markets, it should be free and transparent for all participants. The SEC has turned a blind eye for to long
As a Country, we've lost confidence in the free market of the United States of America. My suggestions would be: T-0 real time settlement FTD's forced to deliver per the regulations Enforcement of illegal naked shorts that have decimated retail's portfolios for decades. Increased scrutiny of dark pools (some of these stocks are being traded 60% in dark pools) Elimination of being
There needs to be hourly reporting of short positions and it must be monitorized. The manipulation of rerouting over 50% of trades daily of AMC through dark pools to benefit Hedge Funds positions is not a free market. I have watched blatant manipulation through AMC and GME. I am a professional business woman who has done lengthy research into FTD’s, Synthetic Shares and how there are possibly 29B

Short positions should have to be reported immediately upon hitting the threshold list. Which as you know means FTD's are running rampant, they should be forced to cover in entirety to discourage institutions from dragging out their mistakes if they've had enough days consistently to reach the list. This would have saved them billions to date. Also Prime brokers should be required to

Exchange-traded products (ETPs) provide different types of exposure to the oil market through several product structures, which some investors or investment professionals might not understand.1 Moreover, the performance of such products may be linked to unfamiliar indices or reference benchmarks, making them difficult for the average investor to comprehend. In particular, a
There is so much of blatant manipulation going on in market and synthetic shares created out of no where. Request very strict jail or otherwise punishment and strict law to avoid such practice which impacts retail investors. Short selling should be allowed only on limited percentage basis and naked short selling amd derivatives contract around same should be out right banned to avoid castor
I completely disagree with the new regulation. I reality most publicly traded stock investments are leveraged because the companies you invested in have debt on their balance sheets. The stock a person buys is in a subordinate position to the debt. This debt helps to boost yield. Just like a leveraged fund helps an investor increase yield. If Inverse funds are eliminated then the ability to short
