I am an active individual investor who uses leveraged and inverse ETFs as a component of a diversified portfolio, and I vehemently oppose restrictions or other qualification requirements for individual investors trading in publicly traded inverse and leveraged ETFs. I am fully capable of reading the prospectuses and evaluating the risks on my own as well as determining the strategy to implement
Hi,
I have known the Leveraged ETFs' risk and invest in those ETFs by my own decision and risk. Don't make limit to buy or sell that options.
Thank you.
I do not support restrictions on peoples freedom to invest. While perhaps the intentions are good it is a slippery slope to start restricting trading on certain investments, such as leveraged and inverse trading vehicles. While these funds may indeed have higher risk, so do many individual stocks. Not all companies and their corresponding stocks are equal, people make investment choices all
There is nothing illegal about it, its just another trading vehicle. All currently permitted forms of trading involves some dimension of risk. It is upon the investor to understand the risks.
Please do not restrict access to my investment funds. We investors are made fully aware of the risks associated with different investments, but these different levels of risk are needed for a diverse portfolio.
Investors should be allowed to invest in all types of securities. Investors should not be discriminated against based on investment balance or net worth and should not have to pass a test to be eligible for certain investments. Brokers, such as Schwab, Fidelity, and Robinhood, and investment product providers, such as Proshares, all do a great job of informing investors of the risks associated
This is a very restrictive measure and limits my ability as an experienced investor to invest as I see fit. I am aware risks involved and those risks have been made clear to me.
I don't agree with the upcoming decisions regarding leveraged ETFs. I know the risk and am willing to take that level of risk for the exposure. I should be allowed to make these investment choices without restriction.
The brokerage company I work with always provides information on risk with investing. As do drug companies with risk on heath. Leave the way I want to invest alone. Ones choice. Free country.
Most leveraged funds SHOULD probably be restricted to certain qualified investors as they often have extraordinary risks that the casual or long-term investor may not be aware of. The risks need to be clearly explained.
