Leveraged ETFs are important to my investment strategy and I fully understand the risk and mechanics behind them. The risks should be understood by investors but not strict guidelines on usage.
Dear Sir,
I should be able to choose the investment vehicle after careful analysis of the risks involved. I am capable of understanding the risks.
Sincerely,
Martin Schechter
Comments:Please don't make risk choices for me regarding what instruments I choose to purchase. My entrepreneurial risks must be my own in this free economy.
There is risk no matter what you buy in open markets. It is the investors responsibility to know his or her risks, not any governing board or government agency.
Leveraged and inverse funds can be a useful investment tool for those that understand the risks. It should not be up to the government to decide who is capable of taking these risks and who isn't.
Hello,
I make my own investment decisions. I do my research, assess the risks, and manage those risks as part of my total investment portfolio and strategy.
Please do not limit my investment choices.
FINRA announced that it has promoted Michael Solomon to Executive Vice President of Examinations and Membership Application Program, effective immediately. Solomon has taken on an expanded leadership role since rejoining FINRA in 2022 as a Senior Vice President and Head of Examinations. Solomon continues to report to Greg Ruppert, Executive Vice President, Member Supervision.
No reason to limit anyone's ability to invest in the market. As an investor I'm responsible for educating myself on the risks I'm accepting with my investments and weigh these risks against the potential returns.
Please do not place any restrictions on any of my investment choices! I am able to decide what risks to take and how much risk that I am willing take!
I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS TO MY RIGHT TO INVEST.
I use part of my gain to buy leveraged ETF as a hedge to my investments.
