I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS TO MY RIGHT TO INVEST. I want to be able to make my own investments as I please. Ive chosen to invest my taxed income and you as a state step in and ask for taxes again if it is for me to make some money. If I loose, o well but if I win, where is my money? Therefore I have the right to make my own decisions.
I feel I should be allowed to choose the investments that are right for my family to invest in our future. The average american family needs to have the right to all investments, not just the wealthy, elite people of the world. It needs to be an easy process so average americans can increase their money as well. This helps keep down on people relying on other resources to have money.
I believe as an investor, I have the right to buy leveraged and inverse funds as I have been doing so. It is inequitable for regulations to be made based on income and privilege of the individual. I am Retired, and manage my IRA myself. I listen carefully to a variety of Investors using TV and Internet sources. I frequently utilize ProShare Leveraged and Inverse Funds in this endeavor. I am fully-aware of the Risks of using these vehicles Long Term. I use them for Short Term Opportunities. I would like to use these Funds well into my Future Retirement Years.
I support this proposal. I believe enhancing the short interest reporting methods can help put an end to market manipulation, and can help prevent illegal activity as well.
Please keep your rules out of my investment strategy. I invest for myself and the well being of my family and leveraged funds are a significant part of my strategy. It is inappropriate to exclude the general public from investment vehicles that are available to the elite. It is also quite possible for anyone with more than an 8th grade education to understand risk and leverage.
It is our rights to buy or sell all the public traded funds. Every stock or fund traded publicly has its risks and we understand it well. We as small investors shouldn't be discriminated by this restrictions. We need the freedom to decide which stocks or funds we want to buy as they are very important tools to achieve our long-term financial goals.

I use leveraged/inverse ETFs to hedge my portfolio. I don't need to partake in any special process or pass any tests to do so, and I don't appreciate the nanny state trying to limit my access to ANY investment, wise or not.
