It is ridiculous to stop us from purchasing these types of securities. Every investor should have the right to invest in any products they deem worthy. That is why it is called capital risk. We all understand not every security is safe and we consider those risks.
Please allow individual plans to formulate their own investing rules without the government adding new laws and restrictions. Risks of investing in cryptocurrency funds such as BITO are understandable by investors such as myself. There are many public funds that are of high risk that do not incur onerous investment restrictions.
I should have the right to invest as I choose. I invest in many different assets, from high risk (options) to low risk (farm land). Again, my investments should be my choice & should not have restrictions.
Thank you for allowing freedom of choice.
How many people have been hurt trading SCO? What problem are you fixing? People assume risk every day in the market. If you think the risk is too high, then restrict access. Else, let folks buy and sell the asset.
Let me make my own decisions. Personally I'm not risking large sums. I should not have to through any extra steps to be able to take on additional risks. Put an extra warning label on it maybe? But otherwise, don't stand in my way.
Please dont restrict our ability to invest in ETFs. They are valuable investment tools and help hedge high risk portfolios or add options to low risk portfolios to increase returns. Theyre a much better option than high flying stocks with almost no earnings.
Limiting investments to the ultra-wealthy erodes trust in FINRA. All investors assume risk and the investors, after being made aware of the risks, should control their investing behaviors. Please do not limit my investment options just because Im not a member of the elite club.
As a personal investor, I understand the risk and reward with leveraged products. In todays time, there is plenty of information available for someone to make an informed decision around suitability. They are not for everyone, but for those that understand the risk, they can be a great addition to their portfolio. There does not need to be regulation around self-directed investing.
This type of investment opportunity should be available to everyone and not just a few, higher wealthy investors. I know the risks and I have experienced gains and losses with this type of leveraged investing. Taking this away from anyone is taking away freedoms and not helping reduce risk for an individual investor.
I support the notion that investors should take the risks on their own investment. Any restrictions like passing test shouldn't be imposed. I am using leveraged and inverse funds (ETFs) to hedge my risks in short-term basis while mostly I have invested in the long-term basis.
