Dear Sirs:
I should have the right to choose my investments according to my preferences, and not answer to authorities as to what is right or wrong for me. I understand leveraged funds and the associated risks. I do not need regulators to decide risk for me. I am capable of handling both the ups and downs.
I do not need or want special processes or tests before investing in leveraged and inverse funds. I am capable of understanding the principles and risks of such funds, and the strategies used to protect my exposure to losses. I have significant experience, and utilize fund strategies to offset risks in my normal investments.
Dear Regulators, I know that certain type of shares are risky, but I can understand that market does involve risk. Certain risks do give better returns. So, this privilege should not be limited to people with huge wealth. I should be able to decide where to put my money to invest.
Hello, I understand that the markets carry inherent risk. I deserve the right and ability to choose my own Investments, along with the level of risk that I wish to take. I understand the risks involved with leveraged and inverse products and I wish to use them from time to time to supplement my portfolio. Such products should not be reserved for the privileged few or the rich.
You should not restrict access to me trading Leveraged or Inverse funds. I am currently in one of those and know the risks. You have no right to make me pass a test to trade these. These are public securities. We are already warned by our brokers that there is risk. That should be sufficient.
I believe it is in my best interest to be able to invest in leveraged funds or not. As with any investment made available to the public, there are risks involved. There are so many other types of funds that have more risk than leveraged ETFs which are not under scrutiny.
Please allow these investments available to the public.
Comments: I am an investor, an advisor, a father, a son, husband and business owner. I have used these leveraged products in small amounts and I feel there is a lot of warnings, disclaimers, etc on these already. If anything maybe make the warning bigger or more bold but don't limit the access of these. That would in my mind do the following 1-increase risk because it would limit volume and
Hello
I want to keep using levered products in a controlled and responsible manner
I am not a gambler or speculator, rather a long term investor with slightly higher than average risk tolerance. I am young with a high paying job, this is the timing that makes sense to take on higher financial risks for me.
