Please don't take away my ability to invest in stocks like tqqq. I've used this to average approx 25% per year since the fund started. Right now, I'm in the situation where I will be able to retire in 10 years. If you take away my ability to hold tqqq, it push back my retirement by several years. Please don't do this. It will harm me greatly.
As an experienced non-accredited investor, I am totally opposed to limiting my investment options. Some of my best investments this year are on the list: commodity funds, managed futures funds, private REITs, etc. While stocks and bonds have performed very poorly in 2022, these investments have hedged some of my portfolios and actually perform well in an inflationary environment. Please do not
Many, many people buy and sell many forms of stocks. For both monthly income, and long term investments.
Further regulating how we can invest will add a financial strain to an already unstable economy. Not to mention raise the number of unemployed.
Government agencies should not have any authority over how we invest our money. Especially with a poor track record of properly managing anything.
Comments: I believe limiting trading in leverage funds is unfair and wrong. I am more than capable of figuring out how leverage works and if I should be investing in leveraged instruments. If Im able to buy a lottery ticket or go gamble my money away at a casino I should [REDACTED] sure be able to bet it on a leverage stock market etf. Who are you to tell me how to spend my money?
I want to have maximum flexibility on the type of stocks, mutual funds, and all ETFs that fit my investment strategy. Using leveraged ETFs is a significant part of my strategy and has been for the last 10 years. The leveraged ETFs have played a significant role in creating a very robust fund of assets that I will be able to use for retirement. Please do not restrict my ability to invest in
I have been investing in the stock market for over the last 22 years. I do not want anymore government control over what or how I invest MY money. It is important that regulations are not created to reduce my ability to earn or lose money with investment products. I do not want to pay for services that I have already been successfully performing myself. Do not make the system anymore unfair to
There is no reason to restrict the retail investor from Leveraged and Inverse ETFs. The ETF companies and brokerage firms put out plenty of information and education about their products to keep the average investor informed. Trading stocks is risky it is not FINRA job to protect investors and traders from risk. As long as the ETF producers and brokerage firms make the information about the
I should be able to choose my investments and apply leverage when needed despite my net worth or status. I am perfect capable of understanding the risks of leveraged funds. The risks are very high, but no worse or better than the risks of investing in other highly volatile securities like individual stocks and commodity etfs. Investing in Facebook would've lost me 50% of my investment in one
I dont feel its up to regulators to decide which investments I choose to invest in and which ones are right for myself and my family. The fact that I do not currently carry an investment advisor license I once did and I understand what I am investing in quite clearly. Trying to make me jump through hoops just to invest in a publicly traded stock is government control. We have enough of that
Inverse ETF's are not exceedingly complex financial instruments. In addition, they can be used easily and cheaply to reduce risk by investors with significant equity exposure. Investors such as myself should have the right to make our own decisions about reducing risk without the need to sell our stock positions. We should not be forced to take a test to retain this right, although i have no
