Retail investors should not be limited to what they can invest in. No one should tell us what we can and cannot invest in.
I do not need to be "babysat" and told where I can and can't spend my own money. The proposal to regulate access to leveraged funds appears to be nothing more than a way for retail to be restricted from utilizing the full tools of the market, to the benefit of institutional investors.

I love these ETFs and they work exactly as advertised, and I take responsibility for any losses I incur. Investors should be knowledgeable of what they are buying and the risks involved, the same as options. If you buy into a leveraged or inverse fund you should be aware of the risks and rewards.
I am against more nanny state regulations. We as individuals need to be able to make our own decisions.
People with high net worth are also incapable of making financial decisions, they just got lucky.
If this investment is inappropriate for individual investors such as myself, then why is it even an option? Just remove it for all investors.
