As an independant investor who regularly uses inverese etfs to hedge my protfolio. I urge you to drop these considered changes. I have done extensive research into each and every asset I have bought, and don't need to be protected from complex things. I can fend for myself and fully understand the risks involved in what we do for a living. Americans in the market have enough restrictions
Why is this even a consideration in the United States. We are a free country built off capitalism. Everyone has the right to do as they want with their money without government interference and monitoring. This is again an abuse of power.
With over 40 years trading experience, inclusive of options, I utilize inverse ETFs as a means of insurance against unknown market events; typically limited to less than10% of total assets. These market tools are valid investments and like all tools in all disciples, when used correctly, enable individuals to complete tasks. Education NOT restriction should rule the day. There is no reason to make me subject to any special process or approvals, I have been using them for a
There is no reason individual investors should be denied access to an efficient vehicle of ownership of an entire asset class. Forcing individuals to seal with complex futures and/or expensive and risky crypto exchanges only deepens the gulf in access between inst. (wealthy) and indiv. (middle class) investors. Per federal law, it is legal for any US citizen to own crypto currency. If there are
Dear FINRA, It is imperative consideration for Proposed Rule #S7-24-15 be discontinued. The funds in question provide individual investors the means to easily diversify and balance exposure over multiple asset classes. This diversification, alongside the already significant margin requirement for purchase of the funds, reduces overall investment risk. This proposed rule would hurt the individuals
