I would like to own my investment decisions. Leveraged funds are risky but also rewarding and I use them with a small portion of my wealth. I would like to continue doing so without having to compete on knowledge with day traders.
I use inverse and leveraged ETF's to reduce risk in my portfolio. They allow me to preserve assets without large amounts of selling and missing out on dividends.

I am opposed to any limits on what I, or other American citizens, can invest in. While I appreciate the need for education and careful analysis, it is up to me to do my due diligence and make the final decision.
Certain types of investments should not be reserved only for people with high net worth or specific financial experience.

I use leveraged products from Proshares and Direxion as part of my portfolio.
I have read, understood the prospectus and know they behave as expected (by simulating and backtesting over flat/medium/extreme market or different timeframe scenarios).
They deliver asymetric risk profiles that are great tools to enhance returns and limit losses, if managed responsibly.
